Warner Bros. Film Fan Festival Tokyo & Osaka

A special limited-time film event, the Warner Bros. Film Fan Festival, will run from December 15 to December 23, 2025, at theatres in Tokyo and Osaka. In Tokyo, the venue is Marunouchi Piccadilly; in Osaka, the screenings will take place at Namba Parks Cinema.

This screening series is a farewell tribute: Warner Bros. Japan is ending its theatrical distribution business in Japan, capping off a century-long presence that began in 1925. The festival is their way of thanking Japanese audiences for decades of support.

What’s on the lineup

The festival gathers 13 iconic films — a curated mix of global blockbusters and beloved Japanese titles. Highlights include:

  • Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Japanese-dubbed version)
  • The Matrix
  • Mad Max: Fury Road
  • The Dark Knight
  • Japanese favourites, including Rurouni Kenshin (2012 live-action film) and the live-action version of Gintama.

It’s a rare chance to revisit — or discover — favourite films on the big screen, in a cinema atmosphere.
