A beloved favourite is making a comeback at Tokyo Starbucks this fall. The Chocolate Mousse Latte, first introduced in autumn 2023 and a big hit again in 2024, returns starting September 3, 2025 — but only for a limited time.
This drink is more than just a latte. It features a soft, fluffy layer of chocolate mousse on top, offering a rich, creamy finish. The espresso base is bold, with caramel-like sweetness and a hint of nutty aroma. Combined with almond-and-hazelnut sauce and steamed milk, it’s a layered treat that’s both comforting and indulgent.
Available both hot and iced, it’s priced at ¥589 to-go and ¥600 in-store (Tall size only).
On the same day, Starbucks also launches the Hōjicha-Scented Baked Sweet Potato Mousse Tea Latte. It’s a creative autumn blend of hōjicha tea, chunks of sweet potato-flavoured sauce, creamy mousse with a slightly chewy texture, and finished with roasted sweet potato powder. It’s a true nod to seasonal flavours.
