Takahiro Miyashita (\u5bae\u4e0b\u8cb4\u88d5) has confirmed he will step away from the label he founded in 2010, TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. His Autumn\/Winter 2025 collection \u2014 titled \u201cThe Black-and-White Realism\u201d<\/em> \u2014 will be his final showing for the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miyashita\u2019s exit was announced in a press release and covered by fashion media worldwide. The brand says it is \u201ccommitted to nurturing its next chapter,\u201d while Miyashita\u2019s own words hint at a fresh start: \u201cA new band, a new noise, catch me there,\u201d a line quoted in coverage of the announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miyashita first rose to prominence with Number (N)ine in the late 1990s and launched The Soloist after leaving that project. Over 15 years, he built a reputation for quiet, personal work that mixes avant-garde ideas with strong references to music and youth culture. His career and creative approach have made him one of Japan\u2019s most discussed designers in recent decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expect the FW25 show to be treated as a manifesto and a closing chapter. Industry sources say the brand will continue on, though details about leadership or creative direction have not been announced. Outside the runway, many in Tokyo and abroad will watch for Miyashita\u2019s next move \u2014 whether it\u2019s another label, a collaboration, or a different creative path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
