Running until June 15, 2025, this unique showcase celebrates the ramen bowl\u2014not just as a vessel for noodles, but as a canvas of culture, craftsmanship, and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discover the Bowl Behind the Broth<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Organized by graphic designer Taku Satoh and writer Mari Hashimoto, the exhibition delves into the 1,300-year history of Mino ware. These ceramics, produced in Japan’s T\u014dn\u014d region, account for 90% of the country’s ramen bowls. Through a method called “design anatomy,” the exhibit breaks down the elements of ramen and its bowl, offering insights into their design and cultural significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artistic Interpretations and Innovative Designs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the exhibition are 40 unique “Artist Ramen Bowls,” each paired with a spoon. These pieces are crafted by a diverse group of artists, designers, and creatives, including notable names like Keiichi Tanaami and Hisashi Tenmyouya. Ten of these bowl-and-spoon sets are new additions, making their debut at this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the experience are three specially designed “Ramen Stalls” by teams of architects and designers, offering fresh perspectives on how ramen is served and enjoyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
