Tokyo Christmas Market 2022 in Hibiya Park – A Gathering of Food, Sweets, Sundries and More

The Tokyo Christmas Market is an event inspired by the Christmas market in Dresden, Germany, the birthplace of the Christmas market. This year’s event will be the largest to date, with 18 restaurants and 19 general merchandise shops. A live band will perform, so visitors can enjoy an authentic European Christmas atmosphere.

In the centre of the venue is the symbolic “world’s largest” Christmas pyramid, with six tiers of wooden figures with different motifs, which rotate to tell a fantastical story. The pyramid is illuminated at night, so visitors can enjoy the various faces of the pyramid depending on where and when they view it.

In the food and beverage area, visitors can enjoy traditional German food and drinks, including the classic Christmas hot drink “Glühwein”. There will also be a wide range of warming dishes perfect for winters, such as demi-glace braised pork shoulder, clam chowder and a special beef tongue stew in a “bread bowl”. In addition, the popular takeaway sweet ‘Tsubo-imo Brulee’, which has sold a total of 40,000 bottles, will make its first appearance as a limited menu item at the Tokyo Christmas Market 2022 in Hibiya Park. It will be sold in the BREWDOG area.

As an entrance bonus, visitors will receive an original mug. The mug with the Christmas Market design on it is a great souvenir to take home or to use immediately at the venue.
