Shibuya PARCO’s 6th Anniversary Party

Shibuya PARCO is about to celebrate its 6th anniversary, and they are kicking things off with a massive event starting this Friday, November 21, 2025. The theme for this year is “Global Niche,” promising a weekend that blends Tokyo’s local energy with international style.

The visual identity for the event is designed by none other than Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER. With his brand also celebrating its 35th anniversary, his artwork at the entrance sets the tone for the celebrations.

If you haven’t visited recently, now is the time. The building has just finished a major autumn renovation, refreshing over 80 different sections. A major highlight is the opening of OUR LEGACY, their first brick-and-mortar store in Japan. We hear they will be serving “Amanoto” sake from Akita to welcome guests, mixing their Nordic roots with Japanese hospitality. You can also expect anniversary-exclusive items from brands like kolor and over 70 other shops.

For art lovers, head to PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO to see “PURPLE PONY,” a new exhibition by French artist Jean Jullien. His work is known for being playful and humorous, a perfect break from the shopping crowds.

The biggest buzz, however, is the kickoff party on the evening of November 21 at Spain-zaka Plaza. STONE ISLAND is hosting a special outdoor music event called “STONE ISLAND SOUND.” The lineup features 3House and the DJ collective FULLHOUSE. It is shaping up to be one of the best nights of the month to catch live music in the city.

The “SHIBUYA PARCO 6th Anniversary” runs through the holiday weekend until Monday, November 24, 2025. If you are looking for where Tokyo culture is heading next, this is the place to be.
