Kaneko Optical (金子眼鏡) has teamed up with British luggage maker Globe-Trotter on a new eyewear collection box.

The box uses Globe-Trotter’s signature Vulcan fibreboard — a layered, vulcanised paper material known for its light weight and old-school craft feel.

It will be sold from August 29, 2025, at select Kaneko Optical stores in Japan. The piece comes in four colourways: black/black, brown/orange, green/burgundy, and navy/brown.
