Kamihaku (紙博) — the big paper & illustration fair run by Tegamisha — is coming back to Tokyo. The event gathers makers of postcards, masking tape, stamps, notebooks and other paper goods from Japan and overseas.
What to expect
Over 150 creators will show and sell original stationery, prints and handmade paper goods. There will be talk stages with editors and illustrators, hands-on workshops, a “paper-item swapping” spot, and a large “stamp stamping” area where you can try hundreds of stamps. The organisers say this edition will use the venue’s largest ever floor area and include overseas participants from Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and the UK.
Event Details
Dates: Fri 19 — Sun 21 September 2025
Times: 9:00–17:00 (21st closes at 16:00)
Venue: Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Centre, Taito (Asakusa)
Admission and ticketing details are on the official site; the event has used a LINE-based digital lottery system for admission passes.

Kamihaku mixes small independent makers, regional paper producers and familiar brands (you’ll often find limited-edition products you can’t buy elsewhere). Beyond shopping, the live talks and communal activities — like swapping wrapped paper items or trying a stamp wall — make it feel like a festival for people who love the tactile side of design.
The venue sits in Asakusa, so you can pair Kamihaku with a stroll around Senso-ji, a visit to nearby craft shops, or a stop at specialist stationery stores like Itoya (Ginza is a short ride away).
