Legendary manga Initial D is celebrating its 30th anniversary in full throttle—from Tokyo’s Shibuya Station to the iconic Fuji Speedway.

Tokyo’s underground at Shibuya Station is celebrating Initial D. From June 9–15, 2025, a massive 22‑meter ad wraps the Dogenzaka Happy Board. Seven major Japanese automakers—Suzuki, Subaru, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, and Mitsubishi—each feature their iconic Initial D car.

The centrepiece? A brand-new illustration by Initial D creator Shuichi Shigeno—his first in over 11 years—showcasing Project D heroes and their cars in dramatic style.

Fuji Speedway Hosts TWO-Day Mega Event

September 13–14, 2025, Fuji Speedway will host Initial D 30th Anniversary 2days event.

Day 1: A tie‑in with the annual FUJI 86/BRZ STYLE festival celebrates Toyota and Subaru fans—especially AE86 and BRZ owners.

Day 2: The Initial D World Summit 2025 showcases cars featured in the series, merchandise stalls, exhibits, and fan meet‑ups.
