Hello sacai pop-up in Tokyo, travelling to major cities around the world

sacai by Chitose Abe (阿部千登勢) will hold a pop-up “Hello sacai” in Tokyo from 10 December (Sat), which will tour major cities around the world. Hello sacai, which started in Paris in 2018, then Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong in 2020, is coming to Omotesando, iconic cultural site in Tokyo from December 10th till February 28th.

In addition to the spring/summer 2023 men’s and women’s spring/summer 2023 products, the “Hello sacai” pop-up will also feature some products based on the concept of upcycling. The pieces include pieces customised one by one from the fixtures created by the 3D modelling unit Gelchop, which were used at the sacai Aoyama shop, as well as pieces reconstructed from vintage items from the long-established Harajuku store BerBerJin. The items are newly reborn through upcycling. Other items include apparel using graphics by CITY COUNTRY CITY, which fuses the past, present and future and creates products inspired by people, things, objects, places and sounds, as well as a collection of Airpods cases by CASETiFY. Airpods cases, New Era®︎’s “sacai” custom specials, original tumblers made by STANLEY, a long-established water bottle brand from the US, and collaborative items with PORTER are also available. Store will also hold exclusive Nike collaboration event on the 8th, for the new colorway drop of the Nike Zoom Cortez, which will be an store raffle winner exclusive. sacai x Nike apparel collection will also launch on the 13th.

Hello sacai is planned to have many events including a live performance by graffiti legend Eric Haze on public opening day, Saturday 10 December. Information on events and products will be announced on the brand’s official Instagram from time to time.

The brand’s flagship sacai Aoyama shop (sacai 青山店) will temporarily close on 30 November (Tue) for renovations and reopen at the beginning of March next year.
