Ami Paris Opens Year-Long Pop-Up and Café in Omotesando

The French fashion house Ami Paris is launching a massive, long-term pop-up store and cafe in Omotesando. Starting November 28, 2025, this two-floor destination will offer an immersive experience that blends Parisian elegance with Tokyo’s dynamic fashion energy, running for nearly a full year until late October 2026.

A True Parisian Home in Tokyo

Located near Meiji-Jingumae station, the new spot is called the “AMI PARIS POP-UP STORE AND LE CAFÉ AMI.” The 136-square-meter space is designed to feel like a “second Parisian home.”

Inside, the architecture incorporates authentic French design cues that define Ami’s brand identity, featuring light oak wood, classic parquet flooring, and calming beige lime paint. Crucially, the space is planned as an “evolving” retail environment. Its layout and presentation will change with the seasons, meaning every visit over the next year should offer something new.

Exclusive Shopping on the Second Floor

The upper floor is dedicated to the collections. The boutique will feature the Men’s and Women’s Autumn/Winter 2025 line, plus the seasonal “Ami Holidays” collection.

For the first time, this Omotesando pop-up will also feature Ami’s debut kids’ collection. Whether you’re a long-time fan or looking for new wardrobe staples, the shop will be the place to find the brand’s signature, high-quality pieces. Shoppers who purchase a bag valued over ¥165,000 will receive an exclusive original croissant keyring.

Indulge at Le Café Ami

The biggest draw is the return of the brand’s café concept, “Le Café Ami,” located on the ground floor. After a previous successful run of the café concept in Tokyo, this new iteration promises an even better experience.

The atmosphere is carefully curated to replicate a Parisian afternoon, while the menu receives an upgrade through a collaboration with Ogawa Coffee. Visitors will be able to enjoy expertly supervised drinks, including rich coffee (¥800) and premium matcha lattes (¥900). For a cold-weather treat, look out for seasonal specials like hot chocolate and cinnamon cappuccinos (¥1,000 each). Simple, perfect French pastries—including buttery croissants (¥600) and pain au chocolat (¥700)—will also be served daily.

Omotesando: The Unofficial Global Stage

The choice of Omotesando for this year-long installation is no accident. Often called Tokyo’s Champs-Élysées, this tree-lined boulevard is where international brands launch their biggest cultural statements. When Ami Paris opens its doors, it will join a neighbourhood that is constantly hosting high-profile events.

As we move into winter, the long-term pop-up will be perfectly situated to enjoy the festive season, coinciding with the neighbourhood’s famous holiday illuminations and other fashion-forward installations. If you want to stay on top of the local scene, be sure to keep checking back for the latest events.
