Starbucks Japan and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design have created a one-off beverage called BBTEA by FRAGMENT, launched exclusively at the Starbucks in MIYASHITA PARK on August 6, 2025. The drink blends black tea with a light-roast espresso, plus vanilla syrup and a touch of fresh cream for a smooth, layered finish — a modern take on the classic coffee-tea hybrid.

The concept came from Fujiwara himself: he wanted “a drink I’d want to carry in my tumbler and drink any time,” and the team worked repeatedly to balance aroma, texture and sweetness. BBTEA is sold in Tall size only (takeout ¥609 / dine-in ¥620). Alongside the drink, fragment released a special reusable cup called FRGMT MYST (¥950).
