Karimoku × NUNO — “Yarn and Fabric Making” opens at Karimoku Commons Tokyo

Karimoku and textile studio NUNO open a new exhibition at Karimoku Commons Tokyo. The show runs September 6 – October 11, 2025 and is free to enter.

The exhibition traces how raw materials become yarn and then cloth. You’ll see the design thinking and production steps behind NUNO’s fabrics — from fibres to finished textiles.

NUNO (led by Reiko Sudō) is known for experimental textiles and has work in major museum collections. This collaboration highlights Japanese textile craft paired with Karimoku’s furniture and display sensibility.
