SIGMA Unveils the Minimalist ‘Sigma BF’ Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera

Renowned Japanese camera manufacturer SIGMA has announced the upcoming release of its latest innovation, the ‘Sigma BF’ full-frame mirrorless camera. Set to launch in April 2025, this camera emphasizes a minimalist design, focusing on the pure joy of photography. Priced at ¥385,000 on SIGMA’s official online store, the Sigma BF is poised to make a significant impact in the photography community.

The Sigma BF stands out with its sleek, minimalist aesthetic. SIGMA has adopted a groundbreaking unibody construction, carving each camera from a single block of aluminium over a meticulous seven-hour process. This seamless design not only enhances durability but also provides a unique tactile experience for users.

In line with its minimalist philosophy, the Sigma BF features a simplified control scheme: three buttons, one dial, a shutter button, and a power button. This layout ensures photographers can operate the camera instinctively, allowing them to focus entirely on capturing the moment. Additionally, SIGMA has revamped the user interface, enabling fingertip control over essential settings such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO sensitivity, exposure compensation, and colour modes.
